And so, inspired by the infiltration of chiefly northern hemisphere holiday customs in recent decades, ordinary residents had been frequenting the witches' houses in ever-increasing numbers at Halloween, begging for candy or demanding to play pranks on the householders.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat was until this year, when the witches, having had enough, decided to do something about the onslaught of trick-or-treaters. They noticed they tended to approach their houses in groups of four and resolved they would cast a spell on the inevitable curling matches that followed. Only the team that can best deal with each spell will be considered worthy and granted the opportunity to trick-or-treat. And thus, the witches had halved their Halloween duties.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo you dare to challenge the curling coven?
