World Curling Academy Graduate Umpires

Curling WA is proud to add six officials to our growing list of members with formal qualifications from the World Curling Academy (WCA).
Under the skilled guidance of international curler and WCA instructor, Bob Bomas, our aspiring umpires were able to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the rules of curling while learning the practical application using on-ice game simulation.

Attendees enjoyed a fun and engaging course resulting in all six qualifying as WCA Game Umpire Level 1.
