This is not a lesson — it’s a fun, fast-paced introduction to Curling WA and its people.
Our Come and Try sessions are designed to give you a genuine taste of curling and the community behind it. You’ll rotate through on-ice stations where you’ll:
• Watch experienced curlers play a real game while coaches explain what’s happening
• Try sliding out of the hack
• Have a go at sweeping
Background music, friendly faces, and plenty of member interaction make this a relaxed, welcoming experience — perfect if you’re curious but not ready to commit to a full lesson yet.
After the ice, stay and socialise with members at the Cabin 401 bar, experience curling’s famous “broomstacking” culture, and learn how to take the next step.
👉 Ideal for: people who want to try something new, meet great people, and see what curling is really like — no experience or equipment required.
