13th April 2024: Come and try the Curling experience or practice your developing skills

As you have seen it on TV, come and try the Curling experience.

Take the plunge and slide along the ice pushing 20kg of granite. Sweep the ice like a crazy person and see how far the stone will travel ... can you get it into the "house" at the other end?

This is an introduction to Curling where we teach you the basics of delivering a curling stone, sweeping the ice and getting to know some of the rules of the game. If there's time we'll play a couple of ends; there are prizes if you can get your stone to stop on the button.

All equipment is provided, and you will be shown the way by some fantastic coaches and volunteers.  Open to all from age 8 and above, no prior experience is expected, all abilities catered for.

Recommend you wear warm, comfortable clothes e.g. track pants and a sweater, with clean sneakers on your feet.
