Aug 1 & 8 2026: Learn to Curl Sessions
Learn to Curl Sessions
Saturday August 1 & August 8, 2026
Ready start or continue your curling adventure? Bring your friends or work colleagues.
Limited places available.
This beginner-friendly program is designed for those wanting to learn how to curl from the very start or to continue to progress from previous come-and-try session. Working as a small group, each person will get personal instruction and guidance rom experienced coaches and players.
Running over two weeks, we start with the basics for some and revision for others, to cover all elements of the game including the sliding delivery, sweeping the ice, some of the rules and scoring. Once we have covered the basics, we will progress into pseudo game play to understand the process, different positions in a team and how to win.
In the second week, we will form teams playing in all the positions from Lead to the Skip, rotating through each for everyone to experience the difference.
What You’ll Learn
• Good delivery technique
• Effective sweeping
• Game rules and scoring
• Strategy and shot selection

You will be ready to join one of our short development Leagues similar to the Winter League games you will see in action on the adjacent sheets.
