The sun is setting, the disco ball is spinning, and it’s time to swap the usual curling gear for something a little more colourful! Get ready for Quokka-spiel: Summer Disco, a night of curling, costumes, and summer disco fun at Cockburn Ice Arena.
Whether you're a seasoned curler, a master of the mighty sweep, or just keen for a fun night on the ice with your fellow curlers, Quokka-spiel is the perfect chance to bring a little summer sparkle to the rink. Expect good company, plenty of laughs, and a chance to show off your moves, on the ice, of course!
And this isn't your ordinary night of curling! We'll be shaking things up with some fun modifications to the rules, so expect a few surprises along the way. You'll need to stay on your toes, think outside the house, and be ready for some unexpected twists as you play!
This event is all about embracing the theme, so costumes are highly encouraged! Think tropical shirts, summer brights, disco glam, retro vibes, and anything that would make a quokka proud. There'll be prizes for the best costume, so bring your creative best and get ready to dazzle!
Round up your curling friends, dust off those dancing shoes (or curling sliders), and join us for a night where the only thing brighter than the disco ball will be the colour on the ice.
