Saturday Beginners Mini-League – 5 Games
This is a brand new, fun and casual competition, particularly for new or inexperienced curlers. The aim is to introduce new players to the game, meet and play with new people each week and maybe try out different positions in a team.
The league is open to all members, non-members and juniors alike. Non-members will need to have attended a Come-and-Try or equivalent session beforehand and will be charged a reduced membership fee as part of their registration. The league will run over five sessions on the dates shown below.
Each week players will register with the organizer and nominate their preferred position in a team being Lead, Second, Vice or Skip. The organizer will pick teams randomly assigning the players for each position, a sheet and rock colour.
4 Teams (including some floating subs)
Week 1 – 3 = Round Robin
Week 4 = 1st v’s 4th & 2nd vs 3rd
Week 5 = Winners of Week 4 & Losing team from week 4

Membership Subscription
The registration fee includes a reduced membership subscription to Curling WA if not already a member, a requirement to play in any League competition. Membership is for this year and entitles you to join a team and compete in any local leagues, national and international events. New memberships are reviewed and confirmed at the next monthly Committee meeting.
